One of the most commonly asked questions by our clients is: how long will my project take? It’s a valid, but challenging question. The answer is: it depends on what we’re doing in your home and where. When you go to paint a room how long will it take you exactly? If you’re a painter you might have a decent idea, but even a painter will admit that anything could crop up that could lengthen or shorten a project. This is the very nature of remodeling.
While this isn’t generally met with happiness we’d rather build honest expectations about your remodel timeline. If we tell a client it’ll take a week and three weeks later we haven’t delivered it begins to break down trust. In a world where honesty is harder and harder to come by we feel it’s very important to remain transparent and create an open dialogue of communication with our clients.
That being said there are approximates we can provide when it comes to the two most remodeled rooms in the house. The following is a visualization to understand.
What if I’m remodeling more than one room?
These timelines are by room and can change if our clients are requesting more than one room to be remodeled. At Corvallis Custom Kitchens & Baths we work very hard to keep our calendar concise on behalf of the clients to ensure that our projects are wrapped up in a reasonable amount of time. No one wants to be without their bathroom or kitchen for months!
