Bath Remodel
Glenwood Dr.

Remodeling a small space, like this bathroom, can be challenging. But that’s not necessarily a bad thing. Challenges force you to prioritize, think creatively, and come up with out-of-the-box ideas that can lead you to better results in the end. Take this bathroom remodel for example.

The original bathroom had a jetted tub, but no shower — a practical necessity. We could have simply removed the existing tub and installed a shower in its place, but our client loves soaking in the bath at the end of the day. And we couldn’t take that away! So, instead, we created a wet room alcove that includes both a freestanding Barclay slipper tub and a tile shower complete with an American Standard tub filler and Times Square shower fixtures. And the custom tile design on the floor allows for an easy-access zero-threshold shower.

In addition to finally getting a shower, our clients also wanted to freshen up their space in preparation for aging in place. Our clients upgraded to a Rinnai water heater to ensure their water heated quickly and can fill both the tub and shower; installed a new marble countertop, sink, mirror, faucet, and three Hinkley Lighting Meridian sconces; and invested in radiant heated flooring.

Now our clients have a modernized bathroom to last them a lifetime!
